The ski center is located  in a plateau of mountain Velouchi, at an altitude of 1840 meters under the caption "Diavolotopos",    which is 12 km from the town of Karpenisi. It was created in 1974 and since then constantly improving. It offers 10 different tracks of varying levels of difficulty , with an an alt range  difference from 1800-2040 meters, 7 lifts , with the possibility of servicing 5,150 people per hour, shops selling and renting  ski equipment, ski school. There is  also hosting center (up to 100 persons), restaurant, cafe, bar and first aid to the tracks. From  the lifts  there is  superb view of the city, the mountains of the region, and  all of central Greece.
