The  whole county Evrytania is mountainous, with evergreen mountains smothered in fir trees and chestnut trees, running water, villages and isolated young virgin territories unexplored. The changing landscape, clean natural environment and beautiful mountains provide a wealth of images, experiences and delights of the unique beauty in nature, to the visitor. It allows for sports in the mountains and rivers, mountain climbing, skiing and friends walking paths unexplored or organized, and the well known  European path E4.
The county has a very good tourist infrastructure, while well-organized ski resort at Velouchi attract many fans of winter sports and mountain.
